Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Echoral (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. About Echoral

Echoral is a personal memory app for iPhone. It helps you capture, organize, and relive life's moments through photos, short clips, places, emotions, notes, people you add, and private stories. The App is provided by Abdulgani Güngör, based in İzmir, Türkiye.

Echoral is not a music streaming service, social network, messaging app, or cloud storage provider. Optional music fields are supplementary and are not required to create memories.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App.

4. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, and in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.

5. Your memories and content

Memories you create are stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts or cloud storage for your memories. You retain ownership of content you add.

You are responsible for having the rights to photos, clips, and other content you add, including photos of other people. You agree not to add content you are not allowed to use.

When a free trial ends, existing memories remain on your device. Deleting the App without a backup you control may cause permanent loss of those memories.

6. Optional music features

You may optionally attach song titles, artist names, or streaming links, or use song search and short previews where available. The App remains usable without music.

Echoral does not provide full-track streaming, does not host music files, and does not grant any license to copyrighted music. You are responsible for complying with copyright and platform terms when associating music information with a memory.

7. Backups

Keep a Copy and Backup create a .cebackup file on your device. That file is yours to save (for example in iCloud Drive or Files). Reinstalling the App does not restore memories automatically. You restore from Settings → Backup & Restore by choosing the file.

We are not responsible for loss of memories if you delete the App, lose the device, or do not keep a copy.

8. Free trial

Echoral may offer a local 7-day free trial of Premium features. Starting the trial does not require payment information. Trial status is stored on your device. It is not an Apple App Store introductory offer.

9. Premium subscriptions

Premium is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store:

• Echoral Premium Weekly — 1 week. Reference U.S. price USD 3.99 per week.
• Echoral Premium Yearly — 1 year. Reference U.S. price USD 69.99 per year.

The price charged is the price shown in the App at purchase and may vary by App Store country and Apple's pricing. Product IDs: com.coralecho.premium.weekly, com.coralecho.premium.yearly.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Unused portions of a free trial, if any, are forfeited when you purchase a subscription, as applicable under Apple's rules.

Refunds, if any, are handled by Apple under Apple Media Services terms, not by Echoral. Restoring purchases uses your Apple ID. Subscription status may be confirmed with RevenueCat so Premium can unlock on this device; RevenueCat does not receive your memories.

Starting, ending, or purchasing Premium does not by itself delete your memories.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App unlawfully; reverse engineer it except as permitted by law; circumvent Premium; add content you do not have rights to use; or harm us, Apple, other users, or third parties.

11. Third-party services

The App may use Apple Maps / MapKit, Apple iTunes Search for optional song search, Apple StoreKit for purchases, and RevenueCat to confirm Apple subscription status. Those services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for those services.

12. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, branding, and software (excluding your content), is owned by us or our licensors.

13. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not warrant that memories will never be lost. Keep a Copy if the memories matter to you.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF MEMORIES, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. Our total liability will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid for Premium in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $10.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the mandatory consumer laws of your country.

15. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Cancelling Premium in Apple ID settings stops future charges; it does not automatically delete memories already on the device.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

18. Apple

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms as they relate to your license to the App. Questions, complaints, and claims should be directed to us, not to Apple, except for payment, refund, and subscription management matters, which Apple handles.
